Jim Bob Barnett
Jim Bob Barnett is a 37-year-old videographer/photographer from Santa Barbara, CA, with over 15 years of experience in all aspects of video and photography. He studied through the Visual Arts and Design Academy and then through the School of Media Arts before getting a job as the Media Producer for a large software company where he still works. Specializing in lighting, sound design, motion graphics, aerial videography, and video editing, he is a one-man show that often runs big productions alone. He's had photos published in the New York Times, TIME Magazine, Washington Post, CBS News, Montecito Journal, and many other publications, and he has had videos shown all over the web and to audiences of 800+ people.
Jim is also a brand ambassador for several companies in the automotive/overlanding space, including Falken Tires, Total Chaos Fabrication, Baja Designs, Redwing Heritage Boots, Dometic, Off-Grid Engineering, SLEE Offroad, 4x4 SPOD, and Leatherman tools. He has written many articles for publications like Stanceworks, UN12 Magazine, TREAD, Expedition Portal, etc., on various trip reports and product reviews from his travels around the American West.
